KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship

KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship defending champion, Rocco Mediate, discusses his thoughts on playing the Jack Nicklaus Signature Design Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Mighigan and why holes 7 and 18 are his favorite holes on the course.

Harbor Shores has proudly been home to the 2012, 2014 & 2016 KitchenAid Senior PGA Chamipionship.

In 2012, Roger Chapman became the first player since Hale Irwin in 2004 to win the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship after holding at least a share of the lead following each round. Chapman's third-round 64 helped him pull away from John Cook, and he extended his lead on the front nine Sunday even with temperatures hovering in the 90's.

In 2014 at The 75th KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, Colin Montgomerie won his first Senior victory and his first victory on American soil.  Montgomerie had a 6 under 65 for a four stroke victory over Tom Watson.

In 2016, the 53-year-old Rocco Mediate closed with a 5-under 66 – holing a 15-footer for par on the last hole at this Jack Nicklaus-designed course – for a three-stroke victory over two-time defending champion Colin Montgomerie.

Harbor Shores looks forward to playing host again to the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship in 2018, 2020, 2022 & 2024.
